Speech Language Pathologist
Gracie Manthey
Gracie is a warm and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist who has a genuine passion for working with children and their families. She graduated with First Class Honours from the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia, and has since built experience supporting children from birth through to young adulthood, as well as adults with swallowing difficulties.
With a background working alongside complex clients, Gracie has developed a deep clinical skill set across a range of areas. She has completed professional development in paediatric feeding disorder and oral motor development. Gracie enjoys working in multidisciplinary team environments and values the rich perspective that comes from working closely with other health professionals to support the whole child.
Her favourite parts of the job? Helping little ones find their voice, empowering parents through coaching, and supporting children with feeding challenges. Gracie is a Hanen certified SLP trained in the More Than Words program and is passionate about equipping families with the tools and confidence to support their child's communication every day, not just within clinic walls.
Originally from Australia, Gracie made the move to Canada in 2024 with her partner, exploring North America, learning to snowboard, and falling completely in love with the Okanagan's stunning lakes. She loved the Meridian Rehab team and culture so much that when the time came to return home in April 2026, she asked if they could continue working together. That conversation is what sparked the beginning of Meridian Rehab Australia — now based on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, Queensland, and bringing the same warm, family-centred approach to clients back home.
